#Student Ministry

Enabling the body of Christ at Bethany Place Baptist Church to relevantly engage students in the church and community to know, grow, and show a real relationship with our Lord and His Word that the students would be servant leaders making disciples that make disciples.

Sunday Morning:

Currently, students from 6th-12th grade meet at 9:30am each Sunday morning. We gather for Bible study, meaningful discussion, and prayer. We break out into middle and high school small groups. The purpose and focus of this time is to encourage practical applications of the word of God in each students daily lives as they face challenges in the form of trials, and through triumphs as we seek to live out the gospel. Currently, the student ministry is studying The Gospel Project in a church-wide study.

Sunday Evening:

C4M (Created For Ministry) is a group that cuts across grade and generational lines. The goal is to bridge the gap between the student and children’s ministry. C4M is Part performance ministry, part service ministry, It is exciting to see the new creative ways our students feel lead to share Christ with others. Whether it is a “Stomp” worshipping on a trash can,” “Shadow imaging,” “Sign language” “Dinner theatre full production band,” Serving first responders and providing secret service acts around the church are also ways they have been helping our community see the love Jesus has for them. The Mission of C4m is be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. The verse that guides C4m is 1 Timothy 4:12 which states, “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”  Typically C4M meets Sunday evenings at 6pm.

Wednesday Evening:

BP students’ Wednesday evening is a time of worship for our students including fun, fellowship, and learning from the Word of God.  We begin with our students together for some games and worship through song. Then we separate for the learning time, and finish with single gender small groups where the students can discuss, share and encourage each other.
